Role Description The Maintenance Technician is a full-time, on-site role based in Auburn Hills, MI. This role is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing production and facility equipment to ensure safe and efficient operations. Day-to-day tasks include performing routine inspections, executing preventive maintenance schedules, diagnosing mechanical and electrical issues, and coordinating repairs to minimize downtime. The Maintenance Technician will document maintenance activities, support continuous improvement initiatives, and collaborate closely with production and engineering teams to enhance equipment reliability and performance. The role may involve working with industrial machinery, following safety protocols, and responding to urgent maintenance requests as needed. Qualifications Strong equipment maintenance skills, including experience with industrial machinery and facility systems. Proficiency in troubleshooting equipment issues and diagnosing mechanical, electrical, or control problems. Experience performing preventive maintenance to extend equipment life and reduce unplanned downtime. Hands-on maintenance and repair skills across mechanical, electrical, and basic hydraulic or pneumatic systems. Background in industrial maintenance within manufacturing or automotive environments. Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and work instructions. Commitment to safety practices, including lockout/tagout and use of appropriate personal protective equipment. High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or vocational training in maintenance or a related field preferred. Strong problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and capability to work independently or in a team.
