Warehouse Specialist
GVI Inc, a subsidiary of Three Saints Bay, LLC, and a Federal Government Contractor industry leader, is seeking a Warehouse Specialist to join our team in San Diego, CA.
Position Responsibilities:
- Maintain a correct inventory of material within the Warehouse Management System.
- Receiving, identifying material and record keeping functions associated with the receipt of materials.
- Shipping, packaging and record keeping functions associated with the shipment of materials both commercially and in accordance with US Navy supply system utilizing DD Form 1149.
- Generate and ensure accuracy of shipping and receiving documentation
Position Requirements:
- Minimum of HS diploma and 1-3 years' experience in logistics, warehousing, or shipboard installation
- Forklift operator.
- Knowledge HAZMAT shipping/receiving.
- Knowledge of U.S. Navy material handling policies, procedures, and documentation preferred
- Understanding of US Navy supply system and practices,
- Proficient with computers, printers, laptops, and common Windows applications.
- Must possess organizational skills and maintain disciplined inventory and material control processes
- Ability to carry 50lbs
- Must possess, and maintain, a valid driver's license
- Ability to work 8-hour shifts in support of 24/7 operations.
- Clearance: Secret
- Compensation: $24.08hr
