Great Non-Invasive Cardiology Opportunity in Pennsylvania Job at a Glance: Employer: UPMC Heart & Vascular Institute (HVI) Location: Hermitage & or New Castle, Pennsylvania (near Ohio border) Role: Non-Invasive Cardiologist (clinical academic appointment) Schedule: Full-time Eligible Candidates: 2026 or 2027; some visa support Reason for opening: Replacing retiree and growth (adding beds & services) About The Opportunity UPMC's Heart & Vascular Institute (HVI) seeks a full-time, general, non-invasive cardiologist to join its expanding team in 2026 or 2027. The successful candidate will enjoy a clinical academic appointment and provide inpatient/outpatient services at its UPMC Jameson & or UPMC Horizon locations. Responsibilities Duties include inpatient cardiology consultations, critical care services, ECG analysis, interpretation of transthoracic echocardiograms, performing/ interpreting transesophageal echocardiograms and cardiac nuclear studies, and the option to teach. These duties are performed in weekly rotation with cardiologists within the practice and weekend coverage is shared 1:4. About The Practice HVI at UPMC Jameson | UPMC Horizon is currently comprised of 4 full-time cardiologists (2 interventionalists with 2 non-invasive cardiologists now & growing to 6 combined) as well as 10 APPs serving two suburban areas near Pittsburgh. In addition to these full-time providers, there are part-time services provided by 4 electrophysiologists (including pacemaker clinic), a heart failure specialist, 3 vascular surgeons, 1 thoracic surgeon, and 1 cardiothoracic surgeon.
