Finance Associate

Whitecap Search is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented professional to join our dynamic finance team. This role offers a unique opportunity to support management and team members in the preparation and presentation of financial reports and other reports, system automation, workflow enhancements, and other ad-hoc projects. It requires a foundational understanding of financial reporting and the financial industry. Core Responsibilities Prepare journal entries and assigned reports accurately and timely in accordance with GAAP. Perform intercompany eliminations and create consolidated financial statements. Support the maintenance of strong internal controls within the team to ensure sound practices and meet the expectations of management, internal/external auditors, and examiners. Engage in ad-hoc projects within the finance area. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of financial reporting requirements and provide solutions to changes in requirements and other related matters. Address other relevant issues that may arise on an ad-hoc basis. Qualifications Eligible to work in the US. Bachelor's degree. Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). At least 2 years of experience in financial reporting or related areas. Strong ability to handle multiple tasks. Experience in the financial industry is preferred.
