Position Type Part-Time/Extra Help Job Title Part-Time Public Safety Officer Classification Title Part-Time/Extra Help Campus Location ASU Beebe Job Description ASU-Beebe is seeking applications for a Part Time Public Safety Officer. This position reports to the HE Public Safety Commander at the Beebe campus and works up to 19 hours per week as needed. The Part Time Public Safety Officer is responsible for providing campus safety and security. Required Qualifications Must be a certified full or part time police officer. Must be at least 21 years of age and preferably certified by the Arkansas Law Enforcement Standards Training Academy. Must possess a valid state motor vehicle operator’s license. Minimum Salary or Salary Range $20.00 per hour Background Check Statement This position will be subject to a pre-employment criminal, sex-offender registry background check. In cases where pre-determined, an additional financial/credit history/ background check may be required as well. Convictions that have been sealed or legally eradicated and misdemeanor convictions for which probation was completed and the case was dismissed, will be excluded. Factors such as dates of the offense, seriousness and nature of the violation, rehabilitation and position applied for will be taken into account.
