Registered Nurse (RN)

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team in the Med Tele unit. The position involves caring for patients with a heavy focus on orthopedic and general surgery. This role requires flexibility to float between similar nursing units and potentially to other locations within the region.

This position requires availability for day shifts, working three 12-hour shifts per week from 07:00 to 19:00. The schedule does not offer block scheduling.

The anticipated start date for this position is within the next 3-5 weeks.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care in a medical telemetry setting.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Monitor patient vital signs and report any changes to the healthcare team.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Educate patients and their families on health management and care procedures.
• Assist with various procedures related to orthopedic and general surgical patients.
• Ensure compliance with established nursing protocols and patient care standards.

Qualifications:

• Current RN licensure in the state of practice.
• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience, with a strong preference for those with travel experience.
• Experience in medical telemetry and surgical patient care preferred.
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Willingness to float to similar units as needed.
