Psychiatric Rehabilitation Technician PRSC

ASPYRE of Bronzeville is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Psychosocial Rehabilitation Services Coordinator (PRSC) to provide group and individual psychiatric rehabilitative and case management services to residents with a history of multiple psychiatric hospitalizations who require long-term care stabilization. The PRSC works closely with the interdisciplinary team to develop, implement, and evaluate effective therapeutic services and recovery-focused programming. Benefits Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Flexible Spending Account (FSA) Life Insurance Critical Illness Insurance Short-Term Disability Insurance Accident Insurance Hospital Indemnity Insurance 401(k) Retirement Savings Plan On-Demand Pay Option Paid Time Off (PTO) Tuition Reimbursement Program Duties & Responsibilities Provide case management and counseling services to residents as part of an assigned caseload Facilitate supportive treatment interventions to maintain or enhance residents' capacity for independent functioning Engage in crisis intervention as needed, including assessment of suicidal and homicidal ideations and implementation of appropriate stabilization measures Facilitate psychiatric hospitalizations as needed Participate in resident evaluations, care planning, and treatment meetings Communicate with psychiatrists and other healthcare providers regarding residents' ongoing treatment plans Participate in the orientation and training of new employees and students Conduct skills groups, psychoeducational programming, and counseling sessions Coordinate with outside providers to ensure continuity of care Maintain accurate documentation in accordance with facility policies and regulatory requirements Perform all other duties as assigned Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Psychology, Social Work, or a related field required Minimum of one year of supervised experience in mental health or human services required Experience providing psychosocial services in Long-Term Care, Post-Acute Care, or SMRF settings preferred Knowledge of behavioral health treatment and psychiatric rehabilitation principles Experience with computerized documentation systems, preferably PCC Ability to read, write, speak, and understand EnglishAbility to lift, push, pull, and move up to 25 pounds Must successfully complete pre-employment requirements Join the ASPYRE of Bronzeville Team If you are passionate about supporting residents with behavioral health needs and helping individuals achieve their highest level of independence and functioning, we encourage you to apply today.
