Network Technician

Client in Carrllton, TX that is seeking a skilled Network Technician to join their team and play a crucial role in transitioning Arista devices to Juniper devices within their data center environment. The ideal candidate should possess expertise in data center networking, cabling, rack/stack procedures, and have familiarity with Juniper and Arista equipment.

Device Transitioning:

• Participate in transition process from Arista to Juniper devices in the data center
• Ensure seamless integration and minimal disruption to network operations during the transition
• Decommission Networking

Devices Data Center:

• Perform routine checks and maintenance of data center networking infrastructure; Demonstrate a strong understanding of data center network infrastructure

Network Infrastructure Management:

• Manage and troubleshoot network-related issues
• Implement and maintain network security protocols
• Confidently comprehend Port Mappings
• Understand Different Types of SFPs

Cabling and Rack/Stack:

• Oversee cabling installations and ensure proper organization
• Conduct rack and stack procedures for network equipment

Primary Skills:

• Proven experience in data center networking and infrastructure maintenance.
• Expertise in transitioning network devices, particularly from Arista to Juniper.
• Strong troubleshooting skills for network-related issues.
• Knowledge of network security protocols.
• Experience with cabling installations and rack/stack procedures.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., JNCIA, JNCIP) are preferred.
• Availability to work in Carrllton, TX.
