Maintains professional accountability for provision of patient care for the assigned patients. Coordinates the patient care in conjunction with other departments. Maintains patient rights and confidentiality of patient information.Position Details:Licensed Practical Nurse Or LPN-Graduate Nurse ResidentLocation: Mercy Hospital Southeast, Cape Girardeau, MODepartment: NeurosciencesStatus: Part-Time - 24 hrs/weekShift: 12-Hour Nights*** Up To $2,000 Sign-On Bonus - No Contract Required ***Qualifications:Education: Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program.Licensure: Is personally responsible for obtaining and maintaining a current LPN license within the hiring state in which nursing duties are performed and must meet all State Board of Nursing requirements.Physical Requirements/Demands: Position requires the ability to push, pull, and/or lift 50 lbs. on a regular basis. Position requires prolonged standing and walking during each shift. Position requires the ability to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat to perform duties.Experience: Experience preferred but not required.Certifications: Basic Life Support certification through the American Heart Association or successful completion of course within 30 days of hire.
