Job Summary

Registered Nurse, Medical Surgical Floor. This 13-week assignment supports a medical-surgical unit providing care for adult patients in a structured inpatient setting. The role requires Basic Life Support (BLS) and National Institute of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification, with telemetry experience preferred.

Job Details

• Required Qualifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; National Institute of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification; registered nurse qualification.
• Preferred Qualifications: Hospital experience; three or more years of nursing experience; epilepsy care experience.
• Schedule: Day shifts from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., 12 hours per shift, 36 hours per week; no call requirement.
• Additional Information: The unit has a patient ratio of approximately 5:1 to 6:1 and uses video electroencephalography, Hoyer lifts, bladder scanners, vital sign machines, and telemetry monitoring. Weekend coverage includes four shifts per month. Navy blue scrubs are required.
