Job Description:

Location: Historic New Castle, Delaware

CoWorx Staffing Services is seeking Equipment Operators (Forklift/Hi-Lo REACH TRUCK experience) in the New Castle, DE area. This is a temp-to-hire opportunity with stable schedules for picking, orders and to push, pull, lift, stack or move product, equipment and materials. Available Shift: Mon-Fri 7:00 AM 3:30 PM (potential for 2nd shift openings)

Responsibilities:

Operate powered industrial lift trucks: forklifts, electric pallet jacks and Hi/Lo Reach Trucks to push, pull, lift, stack or move product, equipment and materials
Use a handheld scanner with a high degree of accuracy
Load and unload trailers as required
Adhere to the Client 7S program and maintain a clean environment at all times
Demonstrate a commitment to process excellence
Demonstrate an understanding of the company quality policy
Work in a hot or cold warehouse environment
The ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and sit or stand for long periods of time
Perform inbound receiving process

Desired Background/Skills:

1 year of warehouse equipment operator experience
Trained and certified in the safe operation of powered industrial lift trucks (HI/Lo REACH TRUCK and Forklift experience)
Ability to Lift up to 50 lbs. to lift objects of various shapes, sizes
Move materials placed on wheeled carts weighing up to 500 lbs
Bend, stoop, squat, twist, push and pull
Stand, sit or walk for long periods of time
Use hands and fingers to handle or feel tools or equipment
Tolerate hot or cold warehouse environments
High School diploma or equivalent
