You will have the chance to positively impact lives by ensuring that every Touchmark resident and guest always has an exceptional dining experience.  You will hire, lead, mentor, train and develop our team of dining room staff, teaching them proper dining room etiquette and steps of service, meal handling procedures, and customer service skills so that every experience in our dining room meets and exceeds the Touchmark Gold Standard.  You will also be responsible for scheduling and administrative tasks as needed.The ideal candidate for this position will: • Have a commitment to Touchmark's values (excellence, teamwork, hospitality, integrity and compassion), as well as a desire to model these values to encourage others to be allies, friends, and givers. • Have a thorough understanding of what hospitality means and how to provide exceptional service with enthusiasm, care and compassion • Be a natural leader who enjoys rolling their sleeves up and leading by example • Demonstrate success in managing and motivating a team of employees • Enjoys teaching, coaching and mentoring • Have the ability to work and make decisions in high-pressure situations • Have a strong understanding of dining operations • Be well-versed with training and scheduling team members • Possess the knowledge and/or ability to follow State and Federal regulations to meet all requirements and residents' rights • Be willing to work weekends, evenings, holidays and special events as needed; have a flexible schedule • Have a thorough understanding of what hospitality means and how to provide exceptional service with care and compassionResponsibilities: • Create wait staff scheduling • Recommend changes to food products as necessary to enhance the dining experience and improve the company's profitability • Supervising the closure of the dining rooms at the end of meals • Help maintain appropriate payroll budgeting • Assist in managing kitchen and dining staff to achieve customer service and financial goals of dining department • Help create a positive work environment • Assist in coordinating front and back of house staff to create a seamless flow • Be responsible for training and development of new wait staff • Provide appropriate coaching and counseling to employees so they can perform job duties effectively • Support the needs of the dining departmentBenefits:Touchmark is dedicated to providing the best for our residents, and it all begins with providing the best for our employees.
