The Role

As the Lead of Solution Consultancy, you will serve as Lead Solutioning in the Professional Services BU, reporting to the EVP of Digital Transformation. Your primary responsibility is to guide solution consultants in designing the optimal solution for each engagement using Innovapptives Connected Worker Platforms Mobile Solution for Operators, Maintenance, and Warehouses. You will advise customers on adopting best practices and recommended solutions integrated with SAP EAM, IM/WM/EWM and APM systems such as AspenTech or GE Meridium. You will work with our product management team and engineers in India to prioritize and address value-added requirements via JIRA.

Leadership and Strategy:

Provide strategic leadership for the Solution Consulting team, aligning efforts with overall business objectives.
Solution Consulting Practice:

Develop and execute a comprehensive solution consulting strategy, best practices and playbooks to drive revenue growth and client satisfaction.
Team Management:

Lead, mentor, and inspire a high-performing team of Solution Consultants.
Team Culture:

Foster a collaborative and innovative team culture that encourages continuous learning and development.
Client Engagement:

Work closely with clients to understand their business challenges, goals and help solution consulting team develop As-Is and To-Be Process Flows.
Consulting & Value Selling:

Lead and oversee As-Is and To-Be process assessments, maturity assessments, and transformation roadmaps; translate operational pain points into clear value hypotheses, quantified benefits, and ROI-driven solution designs; partner with Sales during pre-sales to co-create differentiated, value-led solutions; ensure designs tie to financial and operational outcomes (cost reduction, productivity, uptime, safety, compliance).
Industry Expertise:

Deep understanding of asset-intensive industries such as mining, metals, oil & gas, chemicals and utilities.
Domain Expertise:

Serve as the EAM domain authority across asset-intensive industries; guide maintenance and reliability best practices and apply Enterprise Asset Management, Plant Operations, and MRO Warehousing knowledge to solution design decisions.
Integration Expertise:

Prior experience with SAP EAM and/or IBM Maximo; provide technical guidance on system integrations, including APM systems.
Value/ROI Focused Design:

Oversee the creation of detailed and impactful solution designs aligned with client requirements and ROI.
Solution Architecture:

Provide guidance on solution architecture, design and implementation.
Value-Based Methodology:

Learn and promote Innovapptive’s value-based solution design culture; mentor teams accordingly.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:

Collaborate with sales, product development, and product management to ensure on-time, high-quality delivery.
Pre-Sales & Customer Success Collaboration:

Act as liaison between Solution Consulting and Pre-Sales to align sales, delivery and customer success.
Performance Metrics:

Establish and monitor KPIs to minimize design gaps and QA issues; measure effectiveness and quality of the Solution Consulting team.
Travel and Training:

Travel 60-80% of the time to customer sites for design workshops and training.
Change & Project Management:

Oversee change requests, manage project timelines, identify and mitigate risks, and ensure alignment with budgets and goals. Other duties as assigned.
What You Bring to the Team

Required

Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
5+ years in a Solution Consulting leadership role, preferably in an enterprise SaaS or industrial software environment.
Strong EAM domain experience with hands-on exposure to maintenance, reliability, and asset management processes.
Consulting background or mindset with ability to structure problems, lead workshops, and influence executives.
Demonstrated experience in value-based or ROI-led solutioning and selling.
Prior experience with SAP EAM and/or IBM Maximo (functional and integration-level understanding).
Proven success leading and mentoring 2–5 Solution Consultants and building a consulting practice.
Strong ability to develop As-Is / To-Be processes, solution narratives, and executive-ready presentations.
Excellent communication skills; able to translate complex technical concepts into business language.
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Science; Master’s degree preferred.
Strongly Preferred

Background in asset-intensive industries (Oil & Gas, Energy, Utilities, Chemicals, Mining, Manufacturing).
Experience selling or delivering digital transformation, reliability, or operational excellence programs.
Exposure to APM, reliability engineering, or maintenance excellence frameworks.
Must be authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship.
