CMP-Advanced Mechanical Solutions LLC, 90 Bevier Street, Binghamton, New York, United States of America Job Description Posted Friday, July 31, 2026 at 4:00 AM Reporting: Corporate Director of Human Resources FLSA Status: Exempt Summary: The Human Resources Manager is responsible for leading and executing all core human resources functions for the facility, including compensation and benefits, payroll, retention, performance management, training and development, employee relations, compliance, and the implementation of corporate HR policies and processes. This hands‑on, business‑oriented role partners closely with site leadership to support operational objectives while ensuring compliance with employment laws and company policies. Serving as the primary HR resource and point of contact for employees and managers, the HR Manager oversees the daily execution of HR operations, provides leadership to a small team of HR employees, and fosters a safe, productive, and engaged workforce. This position also partners closely with corporate HR leadership, which provides strategic direction, legal guidance, and support for complex employee matters, while the HR Manager owns the day‑to‑day execution of HR initiatives and operations. Responsibilities: Manage the full employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, performance management, training, and offboarding. Partner with plant leadership to align HR strategies with operational and business goals. Provide guidance and coaching to managers on employee relations, performance issues, conflict resolution, and corrective actions. Ensure compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local employment laws, as well as company policies and procedures. Administer compensation, benefits, leave programs, and HR policies in collaboration with the Corporate HR team. Support employee engagement, retention, and organizational development initiatives. Coordinate training and development programs to enhance employee and leadership capabilities. Maintain accurate HR records, prepare reports and HR metrics, and safeguard confidential employee information. Partner with Operations and EHS to promote a safe and healthy work environment. Identify opportunities to improve HR processes and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across the organization. Lead, coach, and develop a small team of HR employees, ensuring effective service delivery and professional growth Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent work experience) ; HR certification (PHR, SHRM-CP, or similar), an asset. Minimum seven (7) years of progressive Human Resources experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment. Previous experience supervising or leading HR staff is preferred. Strong working knowledge of employment laws, payroll practices, workers’ compensation, and unemployment processes. Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities with accuracy; Excellent communication and problem‑solving skills; Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and professionalism; Proficiency in Proficiency with HRIS systems (ideally Dayforce) and Microsoft Office applications.
