About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Internal Medicine Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 3rd Night Shift Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum years of experience required not specified License: Requires a current state Registered Nurse License or a Multi-state Nursing License from a participating state in the Nurse Licensure Compact. Certifications: - American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support for the Healthcare Provider (BLS) or an AHA approved equivalent. Must-Have: - Professional knowledge of nursing theory and practice acquired through completion of education at an accredited School of Nursing. - Clinical competence and experience in the care and management of target patient populations specific to the area of employment. Description: The Registered Nurse is responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care for assigned patients in an inpatient environment. This individual demonstrates competency in the delivery of care to a primarily adult population. Essential functions have been adapted from the ANA Nursing: Scope and Standards of Practice.
