Step Down Registered Nurse (RN) - Night Shift

This is a 13-week contract position.

Night shift: 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:00), required to work every other weekend.

We are seeking a skilled Step Down Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality nursing care to patients in intermediate care settings. The RN will be responsible for monitoring patient conditions, administering medication, and collaborating with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor and assess patient conditions in step-down units.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Provide education and support to patients and their families.
• Document patient care and maintain accurate medical records.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams for comprehensive patient care.
• Perform critical procedures such as titrating cardiac and vasoactive drips, as required.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Current RN license in good standing.
• ACLS and BLS certifications required.
• Minimum of 1 year of step-down or intermediate care experience.
• Experience with titrating cardiac and vasoactive drips.
