Position: Full-Time, Live-Out Housekeeper/Nanny
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:00/5:00 PM; 40 hours per week guaranteed, with occasional flexibility for additional hours as needed (i.e. stay late for date nights and/or work very rare weekends to help with birthday parties, etc.) with advance notice.
Compensation: $40-$45 per hour DOE, negotiable for the right candidate
Start Date: ASAP - Flexible for the right fit

A warm, welcoming, and appreciative family in Bedford, NY is seeking an experienced Housekeeper/Nanny to become an important part of their household. This is an excellent opportunity for a candidate who takes pride in maintaining a beautiful home, enjoys supporting a busy family, and is looking for a long-term position with kind and respectful employers.

The family includes Mom, Dad, and their four children: a 10-year-old boy, 7-year-old girl, 5-year-old girl, and 2-year-old boy. Mom is a hands-on stay-at-home parent and Dad works from home, and both are actively involved in the children's daily lives. They are looking for someone who enjoys working alongside engaged parents and who appreciates a collaborative, team-oriented environment.

The role is approximately 80% housekeeping and 20% childcare support , with the primary focus being the overall upkeep and smooth operation of the household.

The family is currently living in a 4,800-square-foot home and will be moving into their newly renovated 5,500-square-foot home in August. They are excited to welcome someone who can grow with them and help establish thoughtful systems and routines in the new space.

The family also has two friendly dogs, so a love of children and pets is important.
Responsibilities

The primary responsibility of this role is maintaining the home to a consistently high standard while helping ensure the household runs smoothly day to day.

Responsibilities include:

• Maintaining the cleanliness, organization, and overall presentation of the home
• Managing household laundry, including washing, folding, organizing, and ironing linens and select garments
• Changing bed linens and helping keep living spaces tidy, comfortable, and welcoming throughout the week
• Taking ownership of household upkeep by proactively noticing what needs attention and addressing it independently
• Providing childcare support as needed, including occasional school pickups, activity transportation, or supervising children when schedules overlap
• Assisting with occasional errands, light pet care, and other household needs that help make life easier for the family

Requirements

• Prior experience in a similar role (Housekeeper/Nanny or Nanny/Housekeeper) within a private household
• Strong housekeeping, laundry, and ironing skills
• Excellent professional references
• Legally authorized to work in the United States
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record
• Comfortable driving children as needed
• Comfortable around dogs
• Open to occasional travel
• CPR/First Aid certification preferred

Compensation & Benefits

• $40-$45 per hour DOE, negotiable for the right candidate
• 40 guaranteed hours per week
• Two (2) weeks paid vacation, Five (5) paid sick days, Paid major holidays
• Monthly health stipend (amount TBD)
• Vehicle provided for work-related driving
• Occasional additional hours available, if desired
