Audit Senior Associate

Our client, one of the fastest growing CPA Firms in Michigan, is looking to add to their growing team. If you have a passion for public accounting and seeking a client focused firm, this is a firm to consider. They are seeking a high-energy, driven Senior Audit Associate .

Requirements of the Audit Associate:

• High levels of intelligence, integrity, honesty, motivation, and aptitude for the profession
• Certified Public Accountant or working towards it
• Bachelor degree in accounting or related field
• 3-5 years of experience
• Demonstrated ability in all areas of the staff and senior accountant evaluation criteria
• Ability to maintain a high level of productivity and realization

Responsibilities of the Audit Associate:

• Perform and complete field work to include preparation of workpapers and financial statements
• Execute and/or lead audit assignments
• Support audit planning applying a risk-based approach
• Perform data analytics to identify unusual patterns or trends and investigate findings
• Document support workpapers in accordance with audit program and audit standards
• Support reporting activities and remediation follow-up for completed audits.
• Ability to identify and promote the development of additional services to current clients
