Title of Position – Kitchen Manager

Job Description : We are looking for a Kitchen Manager who brings a smile and positive energy to work every day as an active working chef! The right candidate for this job will also have a strong background in high-volume, full-service kitchens. Duties will include, but not be limited to recruiting, training, mentoring, and maintaining the highest quality culinary team available. Must drive profits through cost analysis and have a strong understanding of P&L. The Kitchen Manager will be responsible for all equipment sanitation and maintenance, and must be able to communicate effectively to delegate such duties appropriately, diligently following the strictest standards and procedures set in place. Our ideal Kitchen Manager is flexible and a customer-focused individual who thrives in a sophisticated atmosphere while maintaining an approachable casual feel.

Qualifications:

• The Kitchen Manager must have high-volume kitchen experience of at least 3 to 5 years
• The Kitchen Manager understands their role as a working chef in the restaurant
• The Kitchen Manager must possess the ability to ensure proper food prep and presentation
• The Kitchen Manager must be able to delegate while maintaining control
• The Kitchen Manager must have basic computer knowledge
• The Kitchen Manager requires exceptional leadership and knowledge of food and beverage operations
• The Kitchen Manager must be bilingual (Spanished preferred)
