Job Summary (List Format) AVD Architect (Houston, TX, 5 days onsite)
- Lead the design, implementation, and optimization of enterprise Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) and application delivery platforms.
- Provide escalation support for end-user computing services and business-critical applications.
- Modernize end-user computing by deploying Azure Virtual Desktop and Windows 365 solutions, including Citrix replacement initiatives.
- Manage Intune policy management, application packaging, and support.
- Design, implement, and maintain Azure Virtual Desktop environments across all stages: development, test, pre-production, production, high availability, and disaster recovery.
- Develop enterprise architecture, solution design, deployment standards, and operational support documentation.
- Design scalable, secure, and resilient virtual desktop and published application environments.
- Lead production readiness reviews, disaster recovery planning, and disaster recovery testing activities.
- Optimize AVD host pools, scaling plans, FSLogix profiles, image management, and performance monitoring.
- Create infrastructure standards and reference architectures for enterprise AVD deployments.
- Troubleshoot complex AVD infrastructure, performance, authentication, connectivity, and user experience issues.
- Mandatory skill requirement: Azure Virtual Desktop.
