Front Desk Coordinator - Behavioral Health Outpatient Clinic

Our client, an established outpatient behavioral health provider in the Baltimore/DC metro area, is seeking a Front Desk Coordinator to join their administrative team. This is a great opportunity for someone detail-oriented, discreet, and comfortable working in a clinical mental health setting.
Responsibilities
- Greet clients and visitors, answer phones, and manage scheduling
- Verify insurance and manage front-office administrative workflow
- File and maintain client documentation in strict compliance with HIPAA privacy and security standards
- Support intake processes and coordinate with clinical staff
- Maintain confidentiality of all client information at all times
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required, per COMAR administrative staffing standards for psychiatric rehabilitation programs; some college or medical office experience preferred
- Prior front desk, medical office, or behavioral health administrative experience preferred
- Working knowledge of HIPAA compliance requirements for client records
- Strong organizational skills and professional discretion
- Comfortable working with individuals receiving psychiatric/behavioral health services
