If you thrive under a microscope and enjoy restoring boards to spec, you’ll feel right at home here.A day in this roleYou’ll settle in at a static-safe workstation, review build or rework instructions, and perform hand soldering and rework on both SMT and through‑hole components—often under magnification. You’ll use precision tools (soldering irons, hot air pencils, desoldering tweezers, flux, wick) and apply IPC workmanship criteria to return every assembly to reliable, repeatable quality.
