Job Description \n As a Local Yard Driver with Lazer Logistics in Stockton, CA, you will stay in one location for your entire shift. No traffic, no long routes, and no multiple stops. Instead, you focus on moving trailers within the yard in a safe, controlled environment. \n This is one of the most consistent and predictable CDL jobs available. You know where you are going, what you are doing, and when your day starts and ends.If you are looking for a CDL job that offers consistency, predictability, and a better day-to-day driving experience, this is it! \n What You Can Expect \n \n Home daily with a consistent schedule \n Limited road driving or highway traffic \n No touch freight \n No customer deliveries or multi-stop routes \n Steady, repeatable work in one location \n Predictable hours and reliable pay \n Pay and Benefits \n \n Class A Starting Pay $25.50 Per Hour \n Overtime after 40 Hours \n Weekly Pay & Benefit Options \n EARN UP TO $2,000 FOR EVERY REFERRAL HIRED & RETAINED \n \n Pay Range: 25.50-25.50 per_hour, General Benefits: Full benefits package includes: \n \n Full benefits package includes: \n Medical, dental, and vision insurance \n 401(k) with company match \n Paid time off and holidays \n Short- and long-term disability \n Employee Assistance Program \n Optional pet and voluntary insurance \n Employee Ownership Program \n \n \n Responsibilities and Requirements: \n \n Safely operate company vehicles, including trucks and trailers, in compliance with all CDL regulations and Lazer's guidelines \n Transport trailers to and from designated locations in a timely and safe manner. \n Perform routine vehicle inspections to ensure operational safety. \n Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures as well as federal, state and industry regulations \n Ensure proper handling of equipment and products for our customers in accordance with agreed services \n Communicate and work effectively with dispatchers, customers, team members and/or third-party vendors working in the designated work location. Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, routes, and any incidents. \n Qualifications \n \n Valid Commercial Driver's License Class A \n Proven experience as a class A CDL driver with a satisfactory MVR driving record. \n Current DOT Physical and Medical Card Knowledge of applicable federal, state and industry truck driving rules and regulations on public roads and private properties (i.e. distribution centers, etc.) \n Ability to handle long hours and adapt to various weather conditions. \n Strong organizational and time management skills Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. \n Ability to perform physical tasks such as getting in and out of the truck multiple times throughout your shift. \n \n Lazer Logistics is an equal opportunity employer, committed to the vision that founded our company.
