Greenskeeper Opportunity At Grand Lake Golf ClubGrand Lake Golf Club, located in Montgomery, TX, is pleased to announce an excellent career opportunity for a Full-Time Greenskeeper. We are seeking a driven individual who is eager to learn, contribute, and grow within a fast-paced hospitality-focused property organization. As part of Troon, you will contribute to a global leader in golf and community management.Key Responsibilities of the Greenskeeper I:Performs general landscape maintenance using hand held equipmentRakes and maintains sand bunkers.Operates small machinery to assist with edging, trimming and mowing.Prepares soil beds for sod, seed and vegetative material.Involved with tasks related to course detail (weed and debris clean up).Assists with golf course set-up procedures.Operates utility vehicles for hauling material and removing debris.Performs skilled duties related to experience (pruning, plugging, etc).Operates equipment safely and is aware of associates and their prospective work areas.Incorporates safe work practices in job performance.Performs other duties as required.Minimum Qualifications for the Greenskeeper I:One month related experience or training.Must have a valid driver's license.Other Qualifications:Regular and reliable attendanceWorking hours are from 6:00 AM - 2:00 PM and can include weekendsWorkload may require additional hours beyond the traditional 40 hour weekStrictly outdoor work in an area where temperatures range from low 100s (feel like mid 110s) in summer to mid 30s in the winterBenefits & Other Compensation: This position includes eligibility for the following benefits, subject to applicable plan terms:Healthcare Benefits – Medical, Dental, and Vision coverageRetirement Benefits – 401(k) with employer match (19 years of age and older)Time Off – Paid time off (PTO) and leaves of absence, in accordance with applicable law and eligibility criteriaEligibility for benefits and the specific terms, conditions, and offerings are governed by the applicable plan of documents and company policies, which may be amended at the Company's discretion.About Troon:Founded in 1990 and headquartered in Scottsdale, AZ, Troon is the world's largest professional club management company, that specializes in services in golf, hospitality, and residential communities.
