Registered Nurse - Cardiology

Role: Registered Nurse (RN) in ambulatory cardiology care, responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care. Utilizes the nursing process, technology, and team collaboration to deliver high-quality care. Responsibilities: Perform comprehensive assessments, develop individualized care plans involving patients and families, coordinate and delegate care, and evaluate patient responses to interventions. Promote professional development, adhere to legal and ethical standards, and participate in quality improvement initiatives. Qualifications: Current RN license, BLS certification, and practice-specific certifications (e.g., ACLS, PALS). Effective communication skills and basic computer proficiency are required. BSN preferred, with cardiology experience advantageous. Skills & Key Duties: Prioritize and triage care, perform procedures within scope, operate monitors and equipment, and support patient transfers. Ability to read labels, assess patient needs, and collaborate effectively with healthcare team members. Physical dexterity for handling equipment and assisting with patient mobility is necessary. Additional Requirements: Ability to stand for extended periods, lift and move heavy items, and navigate busy environments.
