HVAC INSTALLER APPRENTICE

HVAC Installer Apprentice Pay: $17–$18 per hour Start your career in the HVAC industry with paid, hands‑on training! Work alongside experienced installers while learning to install, maintain, and repair residential HVAC systems. You'll gain valuable skills, complete an Iowa apprenticeship program, and work toward your Journeyman license. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent At least 17 years old Valid Iowa driver's license with a good driving record Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn Strong communication and teamwork skills Reliable, punctual, and safety-focused What You’ll Do: Assist with residential HVAC installations Learn to work with ductwork, copper, PVC, and HVAC equipment Use hand and power tools safely Transport tools and materials to job sites Maintain equipment and complete required documentation Attend apprenticeship classes and earn industry certifications Follow all safety standards and company procedures SCHEDULE Monday–Friday, generally 7:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m. (30-minute unpaid lunch). Occasional additional hours may be required. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS Ability to lift up to 50–75 lbs., climb, bend, kneel, and work in varying weather conditions.
