Catering Team MemberWe are the Beacon on Barry where people are nourished, equipped and prepared for the road ahead.We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Catering Team Member to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for driving our catering vehicles, setting up and breaking down event sites, and assisting with food preparation and service. As a Catering Team Member, you will help the catering department to ensure seamless execution of events and provide outstanding customer service to our guests.Responsibilities:Answers phones and takes new orders within the restaurant.Documents and communicates future orders to managers.Prepares and stages all packaged items for catering orders.Interacts with catering clients in a professional manner, both in-person and by phone.Maintains the catering spreadsheet tracker and ensures it's up-to-date.Makes deliveries as-needed using the company provided vehicles.Establishes relationships/communication with other Team Members.Prepares for the following business day and upcoming week.Assists the in-restaurant operation as needed.Works closely with clients to determine event requirements such as menu selection, delivery, setup and staffing.Ensures events run smoothly and meet customer expectations.Assists with outside events as-needed.Qualifications:- Driver's license and clean driving record- Must have car insurance- Must be at least 18 years of age- Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays- Ability to lift and carry heavy equipment, up to 50 pounds- Excellent customer service and communication skills- Strong team player with a positive attitudeThis position is subject to a background check in order to verify driving record.Benefits include:Health insurance beginning within 60 daysA complimentary meal every shiftEmployer-sponsored food safety coursesVacation time accruing beginning from date of hireSundays offScholarship opportunitiesCore Values:To be a LIGHT: Love, Integrity, Growth, Honor (Truett's legacy), TenacityLoveWe foster a deep sense of care and respect for our Team Members, Guests and community.
