Job Title: Registered Nurse - Operating Room Profession: Registered Nurse (RN) Specialty: Operating Room (OR) Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Nights Monday - Thursday Hours per Shift: 10 hours (8:30 PM - 7:00 AM) Experience: 24 months of current operating room experience required; circulating and scrub experience preferred License: Active Iowa license or compact/multistate license required Certifications: BLS from American Heart Association or equivalent required Must-Have: 24 months of current operating room experience required Experience in circulating and scrub roles preferred Experience with general, da Vinci robotics, pediatrics, and trauma cases required Experience in neurology, orthopedics (primarily trauma), gynecology, urology, transplants, plastics, and ENT cases preferred EPIC electronic medical record experience within the previous 3 years required Trauma Level I experience preferred; Trauma Level II experience required Must have completed a travel assignment within the previous 9 months Description: We are seeking an experienced Operating Room Nurse for a night shift position. The nurse will work four 10-hour shifts from Monday to Thursday. The role involves both circulating and scrubbing duties, with experience in a variety of surgical cases preferred. The nurse will need to float across different campuses as required. Candidates should be prepared to work 1-2 upcoming summer holidays unless the unit is closed. A commitment to patient safety and quality care is essential. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong clinical skills and a collaborative approach to patient care.
