Key Responsibilities of the Registered Nurse - Home Health

• Observe, assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing support for individuals in a community or small facility setting
• Work in partnership with other health professionals in planning and evaluating health-related programs and services
• Coordinate communications and actions across disciplines concerning health and safety
• Manage medication ordering, monitoring, and administration as per physicians' direction
• Ensure detailed documentation and compliance with health status regulations
• Direct and supervise licensed practical/vocational nurses when required
• Ensure health-related appointments are completed and findings are acted upon promptly
• Provide training for new employees and recertification training for health and safety topics
