Job Responsibilities Design Tailored Treatment Plans: Assess patient needs and craft personalized therapy strategies aimed at achieving their functional milestones. Implement Therapeutic Techniques: Apply evidence-based practices to improve patients' motor skills, cognitive functions, and daily activities. Engage with Interdisciplinary Teams: Collaborate with fellow OTs, PTs, STs, physicians, and nursing staff to deliver comprehensive and holistic treatment. Educate Patients and Caregivers: Instruct families and patients on therapy methods that promote continued progress outside of sessions. Track and Record Progress: Monitor patient outcomes and adjust treatment strategies to maintain a focus on individual goals. Qualifications Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program. Pursuit of continuing education and post-graduate certifications is encouraged and supported. Certifications Active Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license. NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification is mandatory. Skills A genuine love for people and a strong desire to empower others towards independence.
