Now Hiring: Pediatric LPN (Steady Hours)We're seeking dedicated Pediatric Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) for ongoing roles. This is perfect for nurses looking for consistent hours and meaningful, one-on-one care with pediatric clients.Schedule:DayshiftMonday to Friday- 8a-4pmSaturday and Sunday: 8a-4pm Weekend Support Must be available to work in Elyria, LorainWhat You'll Do: • Provide compassionate pediatric care & assist with ADLs • Administer medications, including J-Tube feeding • Deliver consistent, high-quality one-on-one supportKey Responsibilities:Provide comprehensive pediatric care, assisting with all ADLs (bathing, dressing, feeding, toileting) while ensuring safety and comfort.Administer medications via J-Tube accurately and monitor for tolerance, side effects, and effectiveness.Monitor overall health and development of pediatric clients, reporting changes to the supervising healthcare team.Maintain accurate and timely documentation of all care provided.Follow individualized care plans to ensure clients' safety, comfort, and well-being.Communicate effectively with clients, families, and the healthcare team regarding care and progress.Adhere strictly to all infection control, safety, and hygiene protocols.Provide compassionate, patient-centered care in a home health setting.Comp & Benefits:At BrightStar Care® we value our employees and care about their well-being. Private duty, home care assistance and/or direct care experience at an assisted living or skilled nursing facility, etc., is preferredStrong clinical skills. Self-directing with the ability to work with little direct supervisionCertified CPR/BLS and negative TB skin test or chest x-rayLicensed driver with reliable and insured automobile (proof of insurance required)Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English and communicate effectivelyMust be able to stand walk, squat, bend, kneel, reach, twist, push and pull.
