Position Summary We are seeking a dependable, compassionate, and detail-oriented Dental Assistant to join our growing dental team. The ideal candidate is committed to providing outstanding patient care, maintaining a safe clinical environment, and supporting the doctor and clinical team with efficiency and professionalism. Employment Details Position: Part-Time, W-2 Employee Compensation: $30.00–$38.00 per hour, based on experience and qualifications Required Work Days: Monday to Thursday (8:15am -5:15pm; 1-hour lunch break); Friday (8:15am -3:30pm; 30 mintues lunch break) Probationary Period: 90 days Required Qualifications Minimum 2 years of chairside dental assisting experience Current California Infection Control Certificate Current California Dental Radiation Safety (X-Ray) Certificate Current CPR/BLS Certification Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Professional appearance and positive attitude Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Benefits Competitive hourly compensation PTO: Up to 40 hours per year, in accordance with California law Annual Scrub Allowance Annual Work Shoe Allowance Supportive, team-oriented work environment Dental benefit IRA retirement plan Opportunity for professional growth and continuing education Primary Responsibilities Prepare treatment rooms before and after patient appointments Assist the dentist during a variety of dental procedures Take diagnostic dental radiographs Maintain strict infection prevention and sterilization protocols Prepare instruments, materials, and equipment for procedures Update and maintain accurate patient records and charting Educate patients on post-operative instructions and oral hygiene Monitor inventory and notify the office when supplies need replenishment Maintain infection control standards Ensure operatories remain clean, organized, and fully stocked Provide exceptional customer service while creating a welcoming patient experience Collaborate effectively with the clinical and administrative team What We’re Looking For: The ideal candidate is reliable, punctual, compassionate, and committed to delivering exceptional patient care.
