Direct Support Professional
Kindly Direct Care is hiring a part-time Direct Support Professional for a one-to-one opportunity in Morris County.
This can be a great fit for a college student, educator, human-services professional, caregiver, or someone looking for meaningful part-time work. Consistency matters: although the hours may be limited, the individual and family rely on the DSP to keep the agreed schedule.
What You'll Do:
- Support an adult with developmental disabilities at home and/or in the community.
- Provide community outings, including parks, shopping, dining, swimming, and day trips.
- Encourage independence, social connection, and progress toward personal goals.
- Assist with routines and activities based on the individual's needs.
- Maintain safety and follow individualized support instructions.
- Complete required documentation after services and communicate reliably with the Kindly team.
- Commitment and consistency are essential.
Qualifications:
- Able to consistently commit to the exact posted schedule.
- Dependable, respectful, patient, and comfortable working one-to-one.
- Experience required.
- Able to complete required onboarding, background checks, and training.
Schedule: Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, 16 hrs/week. Flexible timing. Pay: 19-22/hr Location: Butler NJ, 07405 Driving on shift: Required
