Global Commercial Operations Counsel

Amgen seeks a legal counsel to advise the commercial operations and value access team on regulatory and contractual matters related to biopharmaceutical pricing, contracting, and marketing in the United States. Responsibilities include counseling on complex commercial transactions, drafting agreements, managing compliance, and providing training to operations staff on industry requirements.

Responsibilities

• Advise commercial organization on pricing strategies, contracting, and regulatory compliance
• Draft and negotiate pricing, supply, and value-based agreements with healthcare entities
• Oversee pricing agreement interpretation, contract enforcement, and dispute resolution
• Analyze and approve promotional, educational, and sales/marketing materials and programs
• Develop training for commercial staff on legal and regulatory requirements for biopharmaceutical activities

Requirements

• J.D. or LL.M. from accredited law school; admission to practice law in U.S. jurisdiction
• Minimum two years of legal practice experience
• Strong transactional work background with complex contract drafting and negotiation
• Excellent oral and written communication with sound legal judgment
• Experience counseling clients on complex legal and regulatory matters
• Ability to lead, influence others, and manage multi-dimensional projects
• Healthcare industry experience a plus: fraud/abuse, compliance guidance, reimbursement matters
