Highlights Location: Bridgeport, CT Facility: Yale New Haven Health Department/Unit: NNICU Schedule: Full-time, Day shift What You'll Do Collect pertinent data and information relative to the healthcare consumer's health or situation. Analyze assessment data to determine actual and potential diagnoses or issues. Identify expected outcomes for a plan individualized to the healthcare consumer or situation. Develop and modify a plan of care that prescribes strategies and alternatives to attain expected outcomes. Implement the identified plan. Coordinate care delivery and transitions in care. Employ strategies to promote health and a safe environment. Evaluate progress toward attainment of outcomes. Engage in professional role activities, including leadership appropriate to education and position. Communicate effectively in all areas of practice. Requirements Education: Graduation from an accredited school of nursing; BSN preferred. Experience: 5 or more years of experience in NNICU. Licenses & Certifications: Licensed and currently registered nurse in the State of Connecticut; BLS and NRP required; Clinical specialty certification highly encouraged.
