Location: Augusta, GA

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: Night shift from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, including some weekends.

Job Description: We are seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist to provide exceptional care in our facility. The ideal candidate will have experience working with advanced respiratory equipment including Drager vents, Phillips V60 CPAP machines, Arivo2, and Hiflo systems. This position requires proficiency in performing arterial blood gas (ABG) analysis and other related respiratory procedures.

Responsibilities

• Manage and treat patients requiring respiratory support with various equipment.
• Perform arterial blood gas analysis and adjust treatment plans accordingly.
• Monitor patient progress and make necessary modifications to care plans.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to provide high-quality patient care.
• Ensure compliance with all safety and regulatory guidelines.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current Respiratory Therapy license.
• Certifications in PALS, ACLS, and BLS.
• Strong competency with ventilators (including Drager vents and Phillips V60 CPAPs).
• Experience performing arterial blood gasses and using Hiflo devices.
