Internal Retirement Plan Counselor Location: New York. Responsibilities Help investors save for retirement. Collaborate with peers and financial advisors to identify new opportunities for American Funds. Develop and execute critical territory coverage plans. Synthesize information and present it in a concise, clear manner. Make personalized outbound calls, initiating sales and presenting compelling solutions to promote American Funds and proprietary recordkeeping solutions. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree. Sales experience. Well‑spoken, upbeat, and thrives in a team setting. Excellent question‑asking and collaborative skills. Interest in the defined‑contribution marketplace. Holds FINRA Security Industry Essentials (SIE) certification. Must hold or obtain Series7 and 66 (or equivalent) upon hire. Compensation & Benefits Base salary range: $105,459 – $168,734. Eligible for an individual annual performance bonus and Capital’s annual profitability bonus. Capital contributes 15% of eligible earnings to a retirement plan.
