The Master Control Operator will be a hands-on contributor to Master Control Operations providing quality control for and the delivery of the on-air product to affiliates and viewers in a 24/7 broadcast environment. The key focus is to demonstrate job knowledge, organizational skills, and efficient computer skills while monitoring on-air continuity.Your Role Accountabilities...Monitor and maintain on-air continuityTake appropriate disaster recovery action when necessaryVerify that program segments start and end clearlyVerify all commercials, promos, and graphics air as scheduleMonitor closed captioning, subtitles, and V-Chip for accuracyMonitor feeds for correct language distributionHave knowledge of broadcast automation systems, video servers, and graphics generatorsAll other duties as assignedQualifications & Experiences...Minimum of 2 years of events live operations or master control experienceBachelor's degree in Communication Arts or Radio/TV/Film preferredMust possess excellent organizational skills, good verbal and written communication skills and proficiency in computer knowledgeMust be able to handle high pressure multi-tasking situations while acting in a professional mannerBroadcast Automation experience preferredFamiliarity or fluency in another language is a plusMust be willing to accommodate a schedule in support of a 24/7 broadcast and live environment including weekends, nights, and holidaysThis position is considered an essential role. Base pay is just one component of Warner Bros. Discovery's total compensation package for employees. Pay Range: $37,113.00 - $68,925.00 salary per year. Other rewards may include annual bonuses, short- and long-term incentives, and program-specific awards. In addition, Warner Bros.
