Radiation TherapistWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Radiation Therapist to join our healthcare team on a part-time basis. The ideal candidate will be responsible for administering radiation treatment to patients as prescribed by oncologists, ensuring the highest standards of care and safety.Key Responsibilities:Deliver precise radiation therapy treatments to patients following established protocols.Operate and maintain radiation therapy equipment with strict adherence to safety guidelines.Collaborate with oncologists, medical physicists, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement treatment plans.Monitor patient progress and report any adverse reactions or concerns promptly.Educate patients and their families about treatment procedures and safety measures.Maintain accurate and detailed patient records in compliance with regulatory standards.Education and Experience:Graduation from an AMA approved program in Radiation Therapy Technology or Radiologic Technology is required.Registration as a Radiation Therapy Technologist by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT) is required.Licensure in Radiation Therapy Technology within the state of Maryland is required.Associate of Science degree in Radiation Therapy Technology is preferred.CPR certification is required.One year of clinical practice in Radiation Therapy is preferred.Join us in providing compassionate and precise care to patients undergoing radiation therapy.
