A nationally industry-leading Property & Casualty insurance company that's been honored as One of America's Top Employers (Forbes) and a Best Place to Work (Business Insurance) is seeking bright, motivated people for a Commercial Lines – P&C licensed Customer Service position. In this role, you will be responsible for managing customer contact and for providing timely, quality service to Agents, commercial policy holders, and vendors by phone in a multi-state territory. This includes making policy changes, explaining coverage, updating company records and may include underwriting small business policies.

Pay Rate:

P&C licensed: $25/hour

Non-licensed: $22/hour

Location : Hybrid in Worcester, MA and Howell, MI

Shift :

Training: Monday-Friday 8:00am - 4:30pm EST

After training: Monday-Friday between 10:00am – 9pm EST

What’s required from you?

A Property and Casualty Insurance license is required within the first 30 days. The company will pay for the employee to attend the licensing class and will cover the cost for the initial licensing test. The P & C license is a requirement of this position

Qualifications :

·  P&C insurance license must be acquired within 30 days of hire. Completion of annual continuing education requirements to maintain a license are required. ·  Bachelor’s degree preferred. ·  2 years of experience in Customer Service, Call Center, Sales and/or Insurance role. ·  Comfortable navigating PCs and standard business software, and able to provide technical support and troubleshooting. ·  Driven to be proficient with service delivery and quality metrics, insurance policy concepts, billing practices and technical troubleshooting skills. ·  Able to commit to the entirety of the training program and receptive to coaching and feedback.

Key Responsibilities:

·  Handles incoming calls and emails from customers and agents regarding policy changes, Certificates of Insurance, and moderate to complex billing issues such as misapplied funds and billing breakdowns.

·  Interprets and explains policy coverage, counsels, educates, and provides accurate insurance advice by researching and resolving customer problems.

·  Initiates outbound calls to retain business, offer optional limits and deductibles, and gather information to assess insurance exposures and risks.

·  Conducts outbound calls to current customers to review existing coverages, upsell additional coverage and limits, and generate leads for cross-sell opportunities.

·  Underwrites risk (within authorized levels) for policy changes and during all customer communications.

·  Meets daily productivity goals (e.g., an average of 28 combined incoming calls/emails daily), target Average Handle Times, and a 94% schedule adherence rate (punctuality for shifts, lunches, and breaks) while maintaining high call quality standards.

·  Participates in industry organizations and events, and occasionally meets with Agents and Branch Underwriters to explain the CL Customer Service Center program and maintain strong working relationships.

·  Assists in training other team members as needed.
