Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Vermont is looking for a Marketing Operations Specialist to join our Brand & Engagement Strategies team. COMPENSATION: The base salary range for this position is $62,000 - $72,000. Additional compensation opportunities and incentives will be detailed during the interview process. Please note that the range listed above is our good faith estimate of the hiring range for this role. If you are hired at Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Vermont, your final base salary compensation will be determined based on factors such as skills, competencies, education, experience, and internal equity across the current team. LOCATION: Blue Cross has transitioned to a hybrid workplace where employees within driving distance of our Berlin, VT office work onsite Wednesdays, with flexibility to work remotely the rest of the week. The qualified candidate will preferably be in the New England/New York area.

Marketing Operations Specialist Responsibilities:

• Keep the department organized, coordinated, and responsive by leading the team's business operations, managing project workflows, and supporting the development of integrated marketing and communications initiatives.
• Help manage multiple projects and initiatives with competing priorities, overlapping timelines, and project partners from across the organization, while ensuring that work remains organized, high-quality, brand-aligned, and on schedule.
• Establish, communicate, and maintain effective department procedures and processes, such as organizing, storing, retrieving, and archiving department files, records, templates, creative assets, brand materials, and shared digital resources.
• Coordinate vendor onboarding, documentation, ongoing vendor coordination, and exit procedures, ensuring compliance with organizational requirements and policies.
• Support vendor quotations, purchase orders, invoice processing, billing reconciliation, and the maintenance of billing records and vendor contracts for Brand & Engagement Strategies, in coordination with purchasing, finance, compliance and other relevant Blue Cross VT teams.
• Support the organization's compliance with Blue Cross Blue Shield Association brand standards by helping ensure branded materials align with Association requirements and responding professionally to periodic brand review requests.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills

Marketing Operations Specialist Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree, or equivalent working experience in marketing, communications or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of progressively responsible experience supporting business operations, marketing, communications, project coordination, or related functions.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in marketing, communications, or related fields.
• Demonstrated experience coordinating multiple concurrent projects with competing priorities and deadlines
• Strong customer service experience and proven ability to build productive working relationships with stakeholders across all levels of an organization.
• Experience with a variety of digital project and asset management tools (Jira, Litho, Canto, Asana, Monday.com and more) a plus
• Related agency, creative or production experience a plus.
