IT Project/Program Manager IV (Tech PM)

Our client, a leading organization in the technology transformation sector, is seeking a Technical Project Manager to join their team. As a Technical Project Manager, you will be part of the project management team supporting critical IT initiatives. The ideal candidate will demonstrate exceptional organizational skills, clear communication, and a proactive approach, which will align successfully within the organization.

Job Title: Technical Project Manager

Location: Baltimore, MD

Pay Range: $68-70/hr depending on years of experience

What's the Job?

• Coordinate and manage daytoday project activities related to mainframe to cloud migration.
• Track project milestones, timelines, risks, and dependencies to ensure successful delivery.
• Partner with testing teams to ensure test plans, execution, and validation activities stay on schedule.
• Facilitate meetings, capture action items, decisions, and next steps, and ensure timely followup.
• Maintain clear and accurate procedural and project documentation, supporting status reporting and dashboards.

What's Needed?

• Proven experience as a Project Manager supporting IT or technology initiatives.
• Working knowledge of testing methodologies (UAT, system testing, integration testing, etc.).
• Familiarity with AWS cloud environments (conceptual understanding is sufficient).
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
• Experience using Power BI for reporting, dashboards, or project visibility.
