About the Position

Job Title: Pediatric Echo Tech Profession: Radiology/Cardiology Specialty: Echo Tech Cardiac Sonographer Pediatrics Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience required License: Pending state license accepted Certifications: Registered Pediatric Sonographer (ARDMS) with PE certification or CCI with RCCS certification Must-Have: Proficient in complex congenital heart defects Description: About the Position: This position involves working as a Pediatric Echo Tech. You will handle a daily caseload of 4-10 patients. The shift will be Monday to Friday with 8-hour shifts starting as early as 6:30 AM and as late as 8:00 AM. No holidays are required. There is no on-call requirement. You may need to float between locations. Candidates must have 2 years of experience. First-time applicants are accepted. Proficiency in scanning pediatric echocardiograms is essential. Candidates should have extensive knowledge of complex heart disease and defects. References from physicians are highly recommended. Experience with GE imaging systems and PACS systems is preferred. BLS certification is required. Local candidates within a 60-mile radius may be considered. Travelers should be aware of potential emergency response assignments. Completion of all compliance requirements prior to the start date is necessary. All candidates must submit their time-off requests at the time of application. Modules may take approximately 4 hours.
