Job Details

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and review complex federal and state tax returns for individuals, corporations, partnerships, trusts, estates, and gifts
• Prepare multi-state and consolidated tax returns
• Assist with tax planning and advisory strategies for clients
• Research federal and state tax issues and communicate findings effectively
• Apply tax research and technical knowledge to client situations
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients
• Collaborate effectively with peers, managers, and senior professionals
• Manage multiple engagements and competing deadlines throughout the tax cycle
• Maintain accurate and organized workpapers and documentation
• Stay current on relevant tax law and regulatory changes

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field
• 1-3 years of tax experience within a public accounting firm
• CPA license or CPA candidacy preferred, but not required
• Master's degree in Taxation (MST) is a plus
• Strong technical knowledge of federal and state taxation
• Experience with tax research and complex tax return preparation
• Experience with CCH Axcess Tax, Document, and/or Engagement is a plus
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities
• Professional and client-focused approach
