Part-Time Dentist – Southwest Michigan

Locations: Albion, Battle Creek, Kalamazoo, and Portage, Michigan

Schedule: Approximately 6–8 visits per month (weekdays)

Compensation: $800 per visit

Position Type: Independent Contractor (1099)

About the Opportunity

Comprehensive Mobile Care (CMC) is seeking one or more Part-Time Dentists to provide care within structured, outpatient clinic environments throughout Southwest Michigan.

Current locations include:

• Albion

• Battle Creek

• Kalamazoo

• Portage

This opportunity currently includes approximately 6–8 visits per month, with the potential for additional visits as patient needs grow. A dentist may support the entire schedule or cover select locations based on availability and proximity.

You'll function as an extension of each center's clinical team within a coordinated, community-focused setting serving senior populations.

CMC manages the equipment, supplies, scheduling, and billing logistics, allowing the dentist to focus entirely on delivering high-quality patient care.

What You'll Do

• Provide comprehensive dental care, including exams, preventive services, extractions, and basic restorative procedures

• Diagnose and manage oral health conditions commonly seen in aging populations

• Collaborate with clinic staff as part of an integrated care team

• Develop familiarity and continuity with patients at assigned locations

• Deliver patient-centered care in a structured outpatient setting

Qualifications

• DDS or DMD from an accredited dental program

• Active Michigan dental license

• Experience treating senior populations preferred

• Strong clinical judgment and chairside manner

• Comfortable practicing in outpatient clinic environments

• Willingness to travel between assigned Southwest Michigan locations, depending on availability

Schedule

• Approximately 6–8 visits per month

• Weekday availability

• Wednesdays are preferred for most locations

• Scheduling flexibility may be available based on the provider's availability

• Tuesday availability is limited at Albion, Battle Creek, and Portage

• Typical hours are approximately 8:30 a.m.–4:30 p.m.

• No nights

• No weekends

• No billing or administrative responsibilities
