Job Description Lead audit, review, compilation, and other assurance engagements from planning through completion Serve as a primary client relationship manager and trusted advisor to business owners and leadership teams Review financial statements, engagement workpapers, and reporting for quality, accuracy, and compliance Advise clients on financial reporting, internal controls, budgeting, forecasting, cash flow, operations, and business planning Provide guidance on U.S. GAAP and professional accounting standards Support tax planning and client tax consultation when appropriate Manage multiple engagements, priorities, deadlines, and client expectations Coach, mentor, and develop accounting professionals Help transition and expand client relationships while contributing to business development Partner with firm leadership on succession planning, ownership transitions, acquisitions, and other strategic client needs Qualifications Bachelor’s or master’s degree in accounting Active CPA license required 8 years of progressive accounting and financial leadership experience Meaningful public accounting experience with audit, review, compilation, tax, and/or advisory exposure Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and professional standards Proven client relationship, engagement management, and leadership skills Experience with privately held businesses and employee benefit plans preferred Ability to mentor staff and confidently advise business owners and senior leaders Why You Will Love Working Here This is an opportunity to move beyond simply managing engagements and become an influential leader with a genuine path to ownership.
