CoWorx Staffing Services is seeking qualified candidates to operate sit-down powered industrial trucks in the Rural Hall, NC area. These openings are on the 2nd shift: Monday-Thursday, 4:15pm 2:15am.
Responsibilities:
- Follow instructions for operating equipment and maintaining accurate records.
- Move palletized goods and crated materials throughout the storage facility.
- Store materials in designated storage locations while following inventory control procedures.
- Ensure all loads are secure and properly positioned.
- Stack and organize empty pallets as needed.
- Perform daily equipment inspections and maintenance activities, including battery charging and equipment lubrication.
- Inspect products to verify conformance with quality standards.
- Place materials on production lines to support manufacturing operations.
Desired Background/Skills:
- Two years of forklift experience required.
- Proficiency in math, language, and reading skills.
- Ability to regularly operate and remain seated on a powered industrial truck.
- Ability to assess weights and accurately judge distances and heights.
- Ability to work in varying temperature conditions.
