Groton, MA - specialized residential campus

Salary Range (Hourly): 40-45/hr

13 Week Contract

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care and medical oversight for children and adolescents with complex co-occurring medical and behavioral needs
• Administer medications, perform treatments, and monitor medical status per individualized care plans
• Respond to medical concerns and behavioral escalations with calm clinical judgment - de-escalation is a core skill in this setting, not an occasional one
• Document nursing observations and interventions in compliance with DCF and DEEC standards
• Collaborate with behavioral specialists, clinicians, and residential staff on treatment and safety planning

Available Shifts

• Tuesday 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Saturday 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM

Job Requirements

Qualifications

• Active Massachusetts LPN license required at time of placement
• Current CPR/BLS certification required
• Minimum one to two years of LPN experience required; pediatric, behavioral health, or residential experience strongly preferred
• Experience with children or adolescents with complex medical needs, behavioral challenges, or co-occurring diagnoses preferred
• Prior experience in a residential, group home, or alternative care setting preferred
• Familiarity with trauma-informed care and positive behavioral support frameworks preferred
• Experience with DCF-involved youth or DEEC/DCF licensing standards a plus
• Must pass CORI/SORI background check clearance prior to first day
• Reliable transportation to Groton, MA required
• Comfort with electronic health record systems and strong documentation skills required
