Sales Associate/Material Handler - Visalia Store Location: FR Visalia Store 3 339 NW 3rd St Visalia, CA 93291 Benefits Opportunity for career growth Paid time off Employee discounts Responsibilities Ensure all customers and donors are greeted and assisted in a courteous manner. Stock priced items ready for merchandising on the sales floor. Assist in the maintenance of the store and donation area to keep it clean, neat, and organized; perform cleaning duties as assigned by management. Follow all POS/Cash Register policies in accordance with TSA policies and procedures. Maintain safety and compliance standards. Attend required monthly store meetings. Receive, unload, and stock incoming inventory items accurately and efficiently. Provide quality assurance by inspecting products for defects and damages. Assist donors in removing donated items from their vehicles and provide receipts. Separate and sort all donated material into proper containers, and stack material as instructed by management. Perform other written and/or verbal duties as may be assigned by management. Qualifications Ability to accurately handle POS/Cash Register operations and cash transactions. Must pass a background check, including criminal history and sex offender registry. Ability to communicate effectively with management, fellow store employees, customers, and donors. Physical Demands Ability to sit, walk, stand, bend, squat, climb, kneel, and twist on an intermittent or continuous basis. Grasp, push, pull objects such as files, clothing carts, merchandise carts, rolling clothing racks, fixtures, furniture dollies, platform trucks, hand trucks, and miscellaneous carts. Lift up to 50 lbs. Perform various repetitive motion tasks. Perform duties with or without reasonable accommodation. Schedule Part‑time staff may be scheduled for any part‑time shift, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. The store operates 7 days per week; schedules are determined by management.
