How you'll make an impact in this role Ascension Seton is looking for a PRN APRN or PA with Oncology Experience. This is a great opportunity for the right candidate to provide medical services to patients at our Infusion and Oncology Clinic located in Austin, TX. Join an established team off 4 physicians and several fellows P ractice setting: outpatient Employed position within a nonprofit health system Deliver comprehensive clinical assessments for oncology patients receiving chemotherapy and biotherapy, actively managing side effects and modifying care plans to ensure safe treatment delivery. Educate new patients and families on chemotherapy and biotherapy regimens, empowering them with a clear understanding of their treatment pathways and symptom management strategies. Lead rapid intervention for urgent clinical findings by serving as the primary point of contact for emergent lab and imaging results from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, ensuring swift, critical course corrections. Collaborate within a multidisciplinary team of oncologists and oncology nurses to proactively prevent, identify, and manage treatment-related complications, optimizing patient outcomes. Licensed Registered Nurse credentialed from the Texas Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required. BLS Provider preferred. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted. Drug Enforcement Admin credentialed from the Drug Enforcement Administration preferred. Education: Master's degree of Nursing required.
